New Element Research has led to the discovery of the heaviest element
yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv),has one
neuron, 25 assistant neurons, 88 deputy neurons, and 198 assistant deputyneurons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons,which are
surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second can take from four days to four years to complete.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2-6 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neurons and deputy neurons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neurons, forming isodopes.This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an
element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

How in the world can these people look at themselves in the mirror and talk about Democracy when they are helping the Terrorists in Colombia.   I am really trying not to question their Patriotism, but when you are actually helping known terrorists take over an ally, it is hard to believe they are Patriots. I mean FARC is a Marxist Terror group that has been at war with its own government for decades. Please tell me how in the world can we take anything this man says????   He and Nancy Pelosi and the rest of thier comrads have blocked funding to Colombia for the war against drugs, because of POS terrorists and unions in Colombia.   Who in their right mind would vote fort his waste of a human being??

Interpol backs Colombia in case of rebel laptop

BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — Interpol said Thursday it found no evidence of tampering in computers Colombia says it seized from a slain leftist rebel. The finding discredits Venezuelan assertions that the files are bogus and gives Colombia the international backing it sought.

The forensic study by the France-based international police agency will increase pressure on Venezuela's socialist president, Hugo Chavez, to explain documents indicating his government was financing and arming the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.

Colombia said its commandos recovered the three Toshiba Satellite laptop computers, two external hard drives and three USB memory sticks after destroying a rebel camp across the border in Ecuador. FARC foreign minister Raul Reyes and 24 others were killed in the March 1 raid.

Chavez has called the documents fakes, mocking Colombia's revelations about "the supposed computer of Raul Reyes." He denies arming or funding the FARC, though he openly sympathizes with Latin America's most powerful rebel army.

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe turned to Interpol in hopes of dispelling any doubts about the documents' authenticity, and after two months of forensic work, the agency's 39-page report gives him what he wanted.

Interpol found Colombian authorities did not always follow internationally accepted methods for handling computer evidence, but that they did not modify, delete or create any user files.

"There was no tampering with or altering of any of the data contained in the user files by any of the Colombian law enforcement authorities following their seizure on March 1," said Interpol's secretary general, Ronald Noble, a former enforcement chief for the U.S. Treasury Department.--AP

Congrats to all you DUmmies out in California who can now marry each other in that state. I was originally intending to DUFU one of the many jubilant DUmmie threads about the California Supreme Court overturning the ban on gay marriage but they mostly consisted of DUmmies just high-fiving each other with little thought about how this decision will help to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in many House and Senate races this November. Therefore, I took a trip to KOmmieland and found the KOmmies salivating at the prospect of the House possibly frogwalking Karl Rove. This frogwalking of Rove has been a leftwing fantasy for years and remains so despite the silly notion that the House can send out their sergeant-at-arms to arrest Rove despite the fact that chamber is legislative, NOT executive. The Rovian induced comedy can be seen on this Daily KOs KOmmie THREAD titled, "BREAKING: Judiciary Committee Threatening to ARREST ROVE! (Conyers: "Kick Rove's A**"?)" Just keep in mind while reading the KOmmie KOmments that this is the same Daily KOs that the MSM admires and adores to much. I was recently watching Verdict with Dan Abrams. Abrams does a better job than anyone else on TV (maybe even than Olbermann) in covering the corrupt prosecution of Don Siegelman. Robert Wexler was on, and they were talking about the case. Wexler serves on the house committee that is investigating this case. He said that they are trying to get Rove to testify without a subpoena. Rove is refusing, and is making it clear that he will not comply with a subpoena (since when did subpoenas become voluntary?). Rove is raising more "executive privilege" crap. Wexler said that Mukasey has made it clear that he will not enforce a contempt citation against Rove. Congress has become powerless against this president who fancies himself a king. I have never forgiven Schumer or Feinstein for what they did on Mukasey's confirmation, and I have refused to give money to the DSCC because of Schumer's action. This further validates my anger. But Wexler then said something that no democrat has mentioned yet. He said that if Mukasey doesn't enforce a contempt of congress citation, that congress would hold Rove in inherent contempt.

[Inherent contempt? Is this like an inherent traffic ticket?]

If held in inherent contempt, congress would order the house sergeant-at-arms to arrest Rove, and hold him in the capital basement. Congress would conduct something similar to a trial, and force Rove to testify. This method was often used in the 19th century.

You want to know why republicans lost a house seat in a district in which Bush got 62% of the vote? You want to know why people are leaving the republican party in droves? You want to know why we are looking at the possibility of 60 senate seats? Rove's criminality is one good reason why. Another good reason would be Bush's recent claim that he is giving up golf to 'sacrifice' for the troops in Iraq.

[You want to know why the Republicans won't lose as many seats as you hope? The California Supreme Court approving of gay marriages is one good reason.]

The damage this president has done to the constitution has been beyond calculation. He breaks the law at will. He tortures, he commits war crimes. It is my hope that as president, Barack Obama will name a special prosecutor to investigate all of the crimes that this petulant boy emperor has committed. Crimes against humanity. Crimes against the constitution. George Bush belongs in prison.

UPDATE Dan Abrams just said that Conyers on the Judiciary Committee is threatening to ARREST ROVE! They can actually issue an arrest warrant, and then send the sergeant-at-arms anywhere in the country to arrest this son of a b****.

Warsaw Ghetto uprising ends

In Poland, the Warsaw Ghetto uprising comes to an end as Nazi soldiers gain control of Warsaw's Jewish ghetto, blowing up the last remaining synagogue and beginning the mass deportation of the ghetto's remaining dwellers to the Treblinka extermination camp.

Shortly after the German occupation of Poland began, the Nazis forced the city's Jewish citizens into a "ghetto" surrounded by barbed wire and armed SS guards. The Warsaw Ghetto had an area of only 840 acres but soon held almost 500,000 Jews in deplorable conditions. Disease and starvation killed thousands every month, and beginning in July 1942, 6,000 Jews a day were transferred to the Treblinka concentration camp. Although the Nazis assured the remaining Jews that their relatives and friends were being sent to work camps, word soon reached the ghetto that deportation to the camp meant extermination. An underground resistance group was established in the ghetto--the Jewish Combat Organization (ZOB)--and limited arms were acquired at great cost.

On January 18, 1943, when the Nazis entered the ghetto to prepare a group for transfer, a ZOB unit ambushed them. Fighting lasted for several days, and a number of Germans soldiers were killed before they withdrew. On April 19, Nazi leader Heinrich Himmler announced that the ghetto was to be cleared out in honor of Hitler's birthday the following day, and more than 1,000 SS soldiers entered the confines with tanks and heavy artillery. Although many of the ghetto's remaining 60,000 Jewish dwellers attempted to hide themselves in secret bunkers, more than 1,000 ZOB members met the Germans with gunfire and homemade bombs. Suffering moderate casualties, the Germans initially withdrew but soon returned, and on April 24 they launched an all-out attack against the Warsaw Jews. Thousands were slaughtered as the Germans systematically moved down the ghetto, blowing up buildings one by one. The ZOB took to the sewers to continue the fight, but on May 8 their command bunker fell to the Germans, and their resistant leaders committed suicide. By May 16, the ghetto was firmly under Nazi control, and mass deportation of the last Warsaw Jews to Treblinka began.

During the uprising, some 300 hundred German soldiers were killed to the thousands of Warsaw Jews who perished. Virtually all the former ghetto residents who survived to reach Treblinka were dead by the end of the war.

The Seven Years War begins

The Seven Years War, a global conflict known in America as the French and Indian War, officially begins when England declares war on France. However, fighting and skirmishes between England and France had been going on in North America for years.

In the early 1750s, French expansion into the Ohio River valley repeatedly brought France into armed conflict with the British colonies. In 1756--the first official year of fighting in the Seven Years War--the British suffered a series of defeats against the French and their broad network of Native American alliances. However, in 1757, British Prime Minister William Pitt (the older) recognized the potential of imperial expansion that would come out of victory against the French and borrowed heavily to fund an expanded war effort. Pitt financed Prussia's struggle against France and her allies in Europe and reimbursed the colonies for the raising of armies in North America.

By 1760, the French had been expelled from Canada, and by 1763 all of France's allies in Europe had either made a separate peace with Prussia or had been defeated. In addition, Spanish attempts to aid France in the Americas had failed, and France also suffered defeats against British forces in India.

The Seven Years War ended with the signing of the treaties of Hubertusburg and Paris in February 1763. In the Treaty of Paris, France lost all claims to Canada and gave Louisiana to Spain, while Britain received Spanish Florida, Upper Canada, and various French holdings overseas. The treaty ensured the colonial and maritime supremacy of Britain and strengthened the 13 American colonies by removing their European rivals to the north and the south. Fifteen years later, French bitterness over the loss of most of their colonial empire contributed to their intervention in the American Revolution on the side of the Patriots.

Crescent shapes with and without Islamic intent: the Obama logo example

The two most widely recognized symbols of Islam are the crescent and the sword. Kind of amusing that Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign logo can be seen to feature both a crescent and a curved Islamic scimitar:



The crescent shape in Obama’s logo has the round part on top, just like a traditional crescent shaped mihrab (the Mecca direction indicator around which every mosque is built). The animation shows the two most famous mihrabs in the world: the mihrab from the Great Mosque in Cordoba, and the Prophet’s mihrab in Medina.

The lighter vertical column in the center-bottom of the logo, presumably meant to indicate reflected light, even conveys the full vertical shape of a traditional mihrab. The scimitar in the animation is from the flag of the Bosnian regiment of the Nazi SS.

If Obama himself had come up with this crescent logo, one might suspect Islamic intent, given his Islamic heritage. But the logo was not designed by Obama. It was designed by a Chicago based branding firm named Sender, which claims credit for coming up with: “a white sunrise against a blue sky, over a landscape implied by red and white stripes.”

Obama definitely deserves to be made fun of for having a fairly obvious crescent shape in his logo, given his efforts to convince the public that he is not Muslim. This is already an uphill climb, when both his grandmother and his cousin are telling documented lies about their religion, claiming to be Christian in one venue while professing themselves Muslim in another. Lying about being Christian: it’s an Obama family tradition!

Still, there is no indication that the crescent and scimitar shapes in Obama’s logo are intended to convey any Islamic meaning. A genuine coincidence apparently. At the opposite pole is the Crescent of Embrace design for the Flight 93 memorial:



Contrast 1: Architect Paul Murdoch CALLS his crescent shaped memorial a crescent
The Crescent of Embrace name proves that the Flight 93 crescent was and is intended to be seen as a crescent. Only very reluctantly did the Memorial Project change the name, and the changes they made to the design are purely cosmetic. Every particle of the original Crescent of Embrace design remains completely intact in the Bowl of Embrace redesign.

Contrast 2: The Islamic symbolism is overt
It is not plausible that an architect, designing a memorial to people murdered by Islamic terrorists, could be oblivious to the fact that his memorial design is laid out in the shape of a bare naked Islamic crescent and star flag, readily identifiable as a crescent and star flag to airliners like Flight 93 passing overhead.

The Memorial Project simply assumes that the Islamic symbol shapes CAN’T be intentional, which is about like seeing an airliner fly into the World Trade Center and assuming it CAN’T be intentional. Do these people even remember the day they are supposed to be memorializing?

Contrast 3: The Flight 93 crescent contains still further Islamic symbolism
It turns out that the giant crescent points to Mecca. A crescent that Muslims face into to face Mecca is a well known structure in the Islamic world. It is a mihrab (as seen in the above animation), which gives the direction that Muslims are to face for prayer.

Everyone at the Memorial Project is fully aware that a person facing into the giant crescent will be facing almost exactly at Mecca. This according to Flight 93 Advisory Commission member Tim Baird. Again, they all just assume that this MUST be an innocent mistake (the equivalent of seeing as SECOND airliner fly into the Trade Center, and STILL assuming it can’t POSSIBLY be intentional).

Contrast 4: Proof of intent
Paul Murdoch PROVES that the Mecca orientation is intentional by repeating it in the crescents of trees that surround the minaret like Tower of Voices. Below is an animated run-through of the repeated Mecca-orientations (2 minutes).

Contrast 5: the designer's own thematic description is clearly terrorist memorializing
The designers of Obama's logo offer a clearly innocent thematic description of their creation. You can tell just by looking at it what it is MEANT to signify: a white sun coming up into a blue sky over red and white rows of fruited plain. Even the uncanny intimation of the vertical sides of a traditional mihrab is fully explained by the “sun” reflecting off the red and white “landscape.”

In contrast, Paul Murdoch's thematic account of his design is as nakedly pro-terrorist as his crescent and star layout. Murdoch says that the crescent comes from the terrorists breaking the circle. That is, they broke our liberty-loving circle and turned it into a giant Islamic-shaped Mecca-oriented crescent.

As Tom Burnett Sr. put it in his letter to American people, asking for help with our petition to keep the crescent design off of his murdered son's gravesite:

I don’t want to celebrate the terrorist’s circle-breaking crescent-creating feat.

And lest anyone thinks that the giant crescent is no longer present, the Park Service website makes clear that, while the redesign looks more like a circle, the circle is still broken:

The circle is broken in two places that mark the southeastern path of the plane to the crash site. The circle is broken at the entry to the memorial and at the crash site.

The breaks are in the exact same places as before and the unbroken part of the circle (the crescent) remains completely unchanged. It it still points to Mecca. It is still the world's largest mihrab by a factor of a hundred. The only difference is that now a chunk of the broken off part of the circle is included in the design, which is perfectly consistent with its original terrorist memorializing theme. The terrorists still break our liberty-loving circle and still turn it into a giant Mecca-oriented crescent.

So there you have it. Dueling crescents! Obama’s crescent logo exemplifies innocent coincidence (however guilty Obama may be of lying about his religion). In contrast, the Flight 93 crescent exemplifies proven intent. (More of architect Paul Murdoch’s endless proofs of intent here and here.)

There was a Primary last night???

Did anybody get the vote last night?????   Did Hillary win or did the Obamassiah???

Just kidding, I didn't watch anyof the News Stations, I just look to see wahtthe final tally was, and lo and behold, Hillary won in a landslide.  And she will probably win the rest of the Primaries, because Obama does not seem to attract anybody other than African American and Guilty White Elitists. So this leave the Super Duper Democrat Delegates in a bind. Do they still vote for Obamssiah, who will most likely loose as big as Dukakis did,or do they vote or Hillary and piss the African American voters off the reservation.

Who knows what is going to happen, but Hillary is not going to get out of the race anytime soon and still mght use the nuclear option,which she has started to hint at.   Or she might bring out the lawyers and get the Florida and Michigan delegates seated.

Whatever happens it is not going to be a boring Summer in the Democrats race to the finish for the nomination. Get the popcorn ready.

Uno from Austin,Tx????

Huh. He was born here in Belle Vegas.   So Uno is  our dog, not the owners town, but the breeders town.  Those are fighting words, you do not mess with Belle Vegas.

What? Another city claims Uno as its own

Since Belleville has claimed Uno, the famous Westminster Kennel Club Show winner, as our own, I was interested when someone gave me a clip from the Associated Press Managing Editors magazine showing that the Austin (Texas) American-Statesman has done the same.

One of Uno's owners -- Caroline Dowell -- is from Austin, so the newspaper is in much the same situation as we are. Besides some stories, the newspaper has a photo gallery of Uno images and has invited people to enter the best-looking-beagle-in-the area contest.

"We claim Uno ... even though he is seldom in town, apparently as he's entered in shows all over the country," wrote one of the newspaper editors.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Obviously, Uno is ours. Belleville also has a co-owner -- Kathy Weichert -- who was the breeder, as well.

"He always will have been born in Belleville," Weichert said, even if he isn't here that much.

Uno actually has visited the News-Democrat. We fawned over him, took pictures with him, petted him and even got him to yowl while standing on the publisher's chair and desk.---Belleville News Democrat
