Will Hillary drop the bomb????

Hillary is still in the race to be the Democrat nominee for the Presidnecy of the United States.  Just a few years back she was the annointed one and was supposed to win it easily.  But Barak Obama,the junior Senator from Illinois has been the front runner.   And Hillary has pretty much no chance of overtaking Obama in the delegate count.  But neither Obama or Hillary will probably get enough delegates to get the number for the nomination.   So it will be going to the SuperDuper Delegates. So why is Hillary still in it,and how is the world is Obama still ahead after Rev WRight, Ayers and some of his other associates.  Well, thanks to the MSM they were all swept under the rug and no one really knows of Obama's associates and his life.   But some of the Messiah aura hascome off and people are starting to look more closely at himan his associations.  So waht is Hillary to do to win the nomination???  Well, she has the nuclear option. Which is to make Obama so much of an unelectable candidate that the SuperDuper Delegates will have to vote for her.  Andshe can have her minions do this while she stays on the high road and poo poos it. And she also has the Delgatefrom Floida and Michigan to sue overto get them placed at the Convention.

Hillary Clinton's Nuclear Option

Most pundits are telling Senator Hillary Clinton that it's all over but the shouting.  The math is against her.  However, the math is also currently against Senator Obama -- neither candidate can earn the needed majority in the remaining primaries.  The decision will be made by the Democrats' superdelegates, who are not obligated to decide whom they support until the convention. And they are empowered to change their allegiance at any time, based on their "read" of what's best for the party.

This means that until the first ballot in Denver in August, Hillary still has a chance.

Conventional wisdom among those who pretend to know why Senator Clinton is hanging in there say she's waiting -- and hoping for -- an Obama scandal that will make Reverend Wright look like a footnote.  Because Senator Obama is so little known among the public, they've got their fingers crossed that some scandal that's worse than Reverend Wright will surface, and surface soon enough to persuade the superdelegates that Obama can't win.

The "sitting and waiting" strategy is out of character for the politically-savvy Clintons. It's possible they may be shell-shocked from the primary campaign's insane roller coaster ride.  However, once they have caught their breath, they may decide that the prize is worth exercising Hillary's "nuclear option" -- in effect, using surrogates to nuke Senator Obama so thoroughly that they will create that Obama Can't Win scandal out of what is already out there.

In this option, Clinton surrogates -- those public figures who are obviously in the tank for the Clintons, such as Lanny Davis and Paul Begala, as well as those who are not so obviously affiliated with the Clinton campaign -- will carry out the "nuke Obama" strategy on Senator Clinton's behalf, leaving her hands clean and her reputation unsullied.

As a progressive no longer affiliated with the Democratic Party (and a Navy gal, 20 years) I share your loathing of the Clinton Machine and see right through the Lesser of Two Evilisms, the Obamessiah. Personally, I'm a Ron Paul fan. I'm no Republican but sweet JEEBUS on a cracker I'll take an honest broker over a closet Marxist any day of the week.

I'm curious about the Conservative blogosphere in general, however: I found you whilst doing a Google search for political imagery and ended up in your old posts about Al Quaeda. Now that one cat after another is escaping the bag and the whole Global War on Terra (sic) is exposed as a CIA/Mossad joint Globablist (misad)venture, will you take up the subject once again or just say, a la Rosanne Rosanna-Danna, "That's very different, never mind?"

Which leads me to my prior question: When the ca-ca finally hits the fan, will both the heads of BOTH the conservative AND the liberal blogospheres explode? Will those duped by the false right/left dichotomy sing "mea culpa?" Or will you all put your fingers in your ears and go "Lalalalala?"
